Looking to create a standout feature in a small beachside estate, our clients approached us for a design that would exude a holiday destination feel, perfect for entertaining. The brief was clear: a pool and landscape that set their property apart. We began by centring a pool and spa in the yard, incorporating a step-across section that leads to a dedicated tanning area. The main courtyard was transformed with natural stone crazy paving, highlighting a custom-built concrete BBQ area equipped with all the essentials – a beer tap, BBQ, pizza oven, and ample storage.

To enhance the ambiance, the planting was inspired by a "Cali / Palm Springs" vibe. We selected rare agaves, various cacti, and a striking feature palm to provide shade and complete the look.

Specific scope of work included:

Design and Layout:

• Conceptualised a unique pool and landscape design tailored for entertainment and a holiday destination feel.

• Centred a pool and spa in the yard with a step-across section leading to a dedicated tanning area.

• Developed a cohesive layout with natural stone crazy paving in the main courtyard.

Custom Features:

• Designed and built a custom concrete BBQ area with integrated features, including a keg/beer tap, BBQ, pizza oven, and storage.

Planting and Landscaping:

• Created a "Cali / Palm Springs" inspired planting scheme.

  Selected and installed rare agaves, various cacti, and a large feature palm for shade and visual impact.
